Guys,
I have a 1985 Monte Carlo. My question surrounds the oil pressure sensor. I have a one wire sensor with a boot connector down by the oil filter and another 3 wire sensor that used to be in the back of the intake manifold.
Any ideas why I have two sensors? Is one a gauge sensor and the other for the PCM?

Thanks,
Jason W.

If one is small (<1" diameter) and the other is larger (~2-3") you may have a switch and a sender. The sender is larger of the two.

the 3 wire is for the ECM. the other is either a single wire looking like doober posted for the dummy light, or the canister one wire type if you have a factory gauge.
