i would say if you swap everything like wiring, heater vent thing and anything else thats different from the malibu to go.
yes it is i have a 79 cutlass that im in the middle of putting a grand prix dash in ,it bolts right in place of my olds dash and i saw one in a malibu ,it is in a memeber of this site car you will need to get all the grand prix ducking ,and im putting after market gauges in mine it will have auto meter phantom gauges in it

the site search kinda blows....if you use google (or whatever you like) you can do an advanced search and just search a particular site for what you want...I got 14 pages worth of "grand prix dash" hits....the one above was what I was looking for though
