I'm already gearing up for my winter project, a full notch and tubs on my El Camino, in order to fit some bigger tires to handle future engines with more power and better consistency on marginal tracks in the short term. Anyways, I've got my eye on two different Hoosier slicks, one is a Quick Time Pro DOT, which they say has a soft compound, the other is a full slick with with the D05 compound, it looks to be a medium compound. How do I know which one is better suited for my car? All i've run so far is drag radials, I'm a little new to slicks.
