Moser did have a thing on there website that You put Your cars weight and horsepower in and it would recomend what spline. I looked but couldn't find it. I have 35 spline in mine no problems so far. The Nascar guys have 850HP and use 31 spline axles with cars that 3400lbs.
we use 33 spline in a 3400 pound nova that runs mid tens on motor. obviously a 31 spline would be fine for nascar but a drag car sees alot more load due to the shock i would think.
Worst case scenario, you have a car that dead hooks the tire off the brake, or at the dump of the clutch and I'd try to not put more than 600 to them. If the car blows the tires off, you can put 8000 horsepower to them and it wouldn't matter. If you already have them, run them til they make you nervous. If you don't have them yet...don't buy them, get 35's, or better yet, gun drilled 40's
