slicks at a drag strip days are numbered.
DD with decent tired probly a while.
im pushign 430lb at the wheels with stock 26s... havet pulled them... wouldnt suprise me if they were twisted.
usualy its the diff housing that flexes can cant hold things in spec

I have the g/n moser axles w a 7 5/8 carrier out of a camaro . Mine pushing 540-560 ft tq and about 475 hp. Twisted the driveshaft runnin MT e/t streets at the strip for a lil over a yr and still no problems, I chk and chng diff oil once a month and have yet to find any signs of any problems. It hooks 60 ft times are in the 1.63-1.69 range and holds good enough to bring LF about 6" off grnd.
they will last it just depends on how you preload the diff with the slicks, I try and torque mine up it lasted 3 years untill I burnt the clutches in the posi unit
In addition to the 28 spline Mosers the other mandatory upgrade is a support girdle cover. This will help keep the ring and pinion teeth meshed properly under load as the carrier bearing caps are unable to contain the carrier by themselves. I've got well over 500 passes with 1.55-1.62 60 feets with these two components in a 7.5" and still going. Make sure to preload the driveline and don't try to be a hero (definitely don't use a transbrake). My motor makes around 450 lb-ft and maybe 400 hp if I'm lucky. Also, the lighter the car is the better the life expectancy as it has less mass to work against.
We have run in the 12's with a 7.5". We have had to use a winch and trailer to get it home.
