just got thru checking in the electrical tech section on this subject and looking thru the reply area about the "I" connection, which is of no value to most, but before I assume too much, the "S" terminal is for the starter switch, is it not? also, when running the positive cable from the trunk mounted battery, do you guys extend it all the way to the solenoid or to a thru panel connector and run smaller lines (4ga/or?) from the connector to the solenoid, fused block? I know this seems simple to most but to some of us it is rocket science......wannabe

If I remember right the I terminal is ignition related, and doesn't necessarily have to be used. You just need a good ground, the proper order of the heavy lugs (I believe if backwards it could get stuck in the 'on' position), and the S terminal connected to the starter switch.
