is there a bellhousing that will adapt a 92 T5 Ford trans into my malibu wagon? All the info I see on this site and referenced sites recommend using the GM T5, which uses a different bolt pattern... but this Ford T5 was free. I'm thinking it might be a fun project to install in my 267 v-8 wagon. Where do I get a bellhousing that adapts the Ford T5 to the small block chevy engine?
Thanks

Sometimes on ebay I see a Jeep bellhousing that looks like a GM bellhousing; it is probably for the 151 4-cylinder. This bellhousing is for the T5 and has the Ford T5 mounting holes. You will need a V8 GM input shaft, but it will only fit if 1st gear in the Ford T5 is 2.95:1.

1st gear according to the ID tag on the trans is 3.97, so I guess I'm out of luck on this one. Selling locally on Craigs list. Thanks for the input.

I know the later S10 T5s had Ford bolt patterns, but I think they were only in the 4-cylinders (I had one from a mid-'90s S10 I believe).
