Installed mine dry, Just recently broke in the motor and had it running a few times since. 1 hr of runtime tops, but it hasn't given me any issues and my headers were used.

We always use a little Permatex Ultra Copper on slip tubes. It may not be necessary, but it also doesn't hurt any. Do you have the installation instructions? Hooker has them on their website if you want to download the PDF file.

I didn't use any sort of sealant on mine...I don't know about other people, but i had to lift my engine several inches and fish them in from under the car..It was a real pain in the butt....but they fit nice.

I wouldn't be concerend with sealing them, as I would be for spraying it with something to prevent the tubes from rusting together.

If your not using a hoist get the car as high as you can. Your going to need all the room you can get to maneuver them around. You need to trim your wheel wells for the slip tubes. Dito dry install never had a problem.
