i know its not the best, but does anyone run them? does anyone know who makes them?? im on a wicked tight budget, and at $400, its hard to beat.

Not sure who makes them.....but the B&M Holeshot 3600 is the same price and the Hughes street/ strip is only $27 more. For $27, I would call Pete@Hughes. That way you have a direct contact if you have question/ concerns. Not to mention you would be supporting a sponsor

The other option....if you already have a 10" converter in the car, is taking it to a local shop and having them restall yours for you. We have a great local shop in my town that really supports the local guys and does this for a great price

Bought mine from Redneck for 295.00 including shipping, custom stalled to my combo 9.5" rated to 700hp. I heard nothing but good things about Redneck. I haven't tried mine yet though. I'm not knocking Hughes stuff, I had one in my 67 Nova and it worked great. I'm just trying to stretch my coin.

4000 stall 9.5" w/ anti-balloon plates for $295 from redneck... my wallet will still have cash in it!!

my brother in law and all of his mud racing friends use redneck converters, they love them.
