monte ss trunk spoiler on a malibu

i bought a spoiler after removing the studs and laying it on the malibu decklid theres a significant bow in the spoiler so i wondered if it would need to be cut//sectioned for fitment it also looks like its to short it doesnt overhang the quaters ,,,,if you have done this conversion or know of a post to help me i would appreciate it thanks
