my final electrical issue /horn related

its been awhile since i disassembled a steering column so i have a faded memory anyhow my horn works intermittently when i steer the wheel i have a grant classic set up with a factory horn wire (it twists in and locks ) i believe its in the column just wanted to see what the common issues are thanks

I'd say you have a bad clock spring

is this what you mean i know the newer cars have a clock spring that runs the air bags / horn thanks
