I took my all aluminum motor out and replaced it with a steel block and head motor. I thought the car set to high so I cut a coil of the front springs and put drop springs in the rear. This has caused several problems. First being the front end is almost bottomed out and the tires rub the inner fenders. Second being that now that the rear is lowered a decent sized tire no longer fits with out rubbing and the rear is so low it has the geometry all out of wack. The car doesn't hook any more. The third being it now rides like a mid 80s F150. Here are the wheel weights minus driver.

LF 1102 RF 1052
LR 719 RR 690

Total was 3485
Ride height in front is 12 1/2" from spindle center to bottom of fender lip directly above it. I'm gussing it needs to come up about 2"

So what front springs do you guys think?

I've always had good luck with new V6 springs. Cutting coils never helps. Moroso trick springs are hard to install and only last one season. Currently i am running old 1981 Iraqi taxi springs in my 81 malibu with an aluminum head BBC.
