Yes, the A833 and Toploader were cast iron cases.

I only looked inside a Toploader, once. There are small pieces that are inserted into the edge of the casting to manage the shifter. I am not sure how they compare to the T56.

I really want to take the spare muncie that I have apart and put it back together with the parts that are in it a couple of times. I’ve watched a lot of his videos in the past and ordered parts from him. I think I might start tinkering with it in the coming weeks just for fun
