Does the digiset time off of the trans break?

Depends on how you wire it, but yet you can wire it to delay from the release of the trans brake.

MSD makes a neat digital timer that is much more repeatable than the Digiset timers. I was working on a multi stage nitrous small tire car and the Digisets were moving around .05-.12 with the settings the same! One of them had a swing of .2 on one pass also. We noticed this on the trace from the 7531 box and the next time at the track we had them all changed out to something that didnt vary more than .01 on the trace on each run.

like Mitch mentioned no reason to soften up a 100 shot I make 628 on motor and have hit it with a little 175 shot and it still hooks on an old set of 9 inch slicks.
