I'm on a budget, and need a set of self aligning rockers. I'm considering these since I still have a stock Vortec truck cam, and don't plan to see anything north of 5000 RPM. This is just going to be a driver for now.

Check out the PRW rockers, we use alot of them and havent had a failure yet, If the aluminum rockers wont work then they make a stainless rocker as well.
We use them on dirt track engines that see around 7000 rpm.

What have you had as far as failures with the PRWs?

I'm scared to trash something in my valve train, so I'm really considering going with Com Cams roller tip since its going to be street driver.

Honestly, if you're looking to put it on a DD and under 5000 rpm, I wouldn't waste my money on roller rockers.
