Does anyone know if Painless or somebody else has made a simple wire harness for our cars? I dont want to use my oem wireing. whats the simplest way to wire my car up? It has no options and I have removed the air box, just needs guages, lights, electric fuel pump, electric fans, radio and a couple of other acc. Any suggestions?

Painless sells a universal kit for just about every combination of items you need to power. There is nothing "painless" about doing a complete re-wire on a car though. Be prepared to spend a lot of time to do it right. Plan the entire electrical system out first (where to mount switches, relays, fuses, etc...) before you start or you'll be doing things more than once. Good luck!

i can vouch for the painless kits. they really are prolly one of the most easiest kits to install.

i did a painless 18 circuit in my el camino. LOVED it! yea it was a pain in the !!@ but now everything works great! gives you the chance to make everything plug in where you want it and clean everything up. follow directions and read the wires and its almost self explanitory!

good luck.

I just installed an ARC box and wiring--no options just the basics for racing and it definitly isn't painless. A lot of time, but it was worth it.

My neighbor used an EZ wire kit on his truck and is much cheaper than painless.
