Found some real nice A-pillars at the salvage yard, when I went to remove them some paint flaked-they had been painted a different color. Got'em for free. Any way to remove the paint? Whatever was used does not look to have adhered very well. I'm concerned paint stripper will damage the plastic. Any ideas?

Car wash.
Put them in the floor mat clips and use the pressure hose to blow the paint off.
Get a distance from the plastic and keep the wand moving to keep from damaging them.

EZ Off Oven Cleaner. I use it to strip the paint from plastic model cars all the time.

I heard about the easy off trick. So it really does work.

Yep, gets it down to just about nothing without harming the plastic. Occasionally I'll have to take a soft toothbrush to corners/edges to get it all off.

Longest I've probably let it set was an hour. Usually doesn't take very long. You can probably find more results/experiences on some of the model car forums.
