Pinion seal

Leaking from the front, guessing it's the pinion seal. Never replaced one. Any tips/tricks-Pro's/Cons?

when you put the yoke back on the pinion, put thread sealer in the spline to prevent oil from wicking out and dripping around the nut, which is what it looks like is happening now.

Pack around the pinion nut with silicone. Clean it up good first. Looks to be seeping out around the nut. The seal is probably O.K. ~ Jon
