?????Power Help?????

I just had a remote start alarm and HID head lights installed on my 82 bu now there is a power issue. A few hours after i had the lights put on the car wouldn't crank had to boost it off drove it on the highway for like 40min shut it off tried to crank it got nothing. The question that have is should i upgrade my alt and battery due to the new parts added? If so what should I get or could it be something else? The alarm was added last week worked fine till i got the lights added today then it wouldnt crank

Take the battery to get tested, it could just be bad timing.

Will do. a guy on another site said he upgraded his alt to cs144 alternator on his cutlass which puts out 140 Amp what u think
