I know I'm probably gonna get flamed because the T5's are garbage no matter how you build them. However, moving past that I am wanting to use my World Class T5 trans behind my LS motor. The transmission I have is built to the max... That being said I'm wondering if anybody can help me with what parts I should use for the swap.
The car is current set-up for a manual, but I will be going from the mechanical linkage to a hydraulic set-up. So I'm curious if anybody knows the following:
- Can it be done?
- What flywheel will work?
- Does the crankshaft need a spacer?
- What master/slave cylinder should be used?
I plan on getting a T56 down the line but would like to get this transmission in there to get her running, break in the motor, and set-up the stand alone unit for the car.
I know it may not last, once I get to my higher hp numbers, but like I said I plan on having a 6-spd and twin disc when I turn up the boost.
