Rear control arm poly bushing installation?

I just purchased this Energy Suspension kit for my rear cntrl arms http://summitracing.com/parts/ENS-3-3132R/

It came with all these extra spacer poly rings that I couldnt find a place for so I didnt use any of them. It seemed vehicle specific but the bushing sleeves seemed the same size as OEM so they didnt seem necessary. Can anyone confirm that these were unnecessary for my 81 el camino?

Also. Somehow, despite my meticulous work ethic, I installed the bushings on one of the lower control arms from the "wrong" side. I flipped the control arm around so the larger side of the bushings would be positioned as stock (larger side on the outer). Is having the control arm flipped going to pose an issue? I can take pictures if necessary.

thanks

please ignore the awful welds. All I did was flip it from front to back.

i don't think there's anything wrong with running that.i'm sure someone will beg to differ but it looks fine to me.
nice job btw most people bend the $@#) out of their arms installing the bushings

Thanks. I couldn't find any direction-determining shape to the thing either so...we'll see. Didn't notice a problem during driving either.

And yeah those are some flimsy arms! I did actually bend the mounting areas a little bit hammering on the bushings but was able to get them straightened out easily. I'm starting to doubt this will solve my wheel hop issue though.

it's cheap enough to box them arms in,just grab some flat stock and weld em' up.yea their not as thick as a true aftrermarket boxed arm but its does the trick.i sold some uppers and some lowers about a month ago to a guy on here that claimed was in the low twelves with a set of stockers.the blower sticking out of the hood doesn't lie usally

I was thinking that as well, but that's another project for another day. We'll see how bad the wheel hop is when I get all the bushings installed.

I also wanted to point out that the bushings on the upper control arms do not mount symmetrically like I imagined the lowers did. So I don't think I actually made a mistake and can flip that lower control arm back around without issue.
Thanks!
