Ok,here goes I am converting my car to Wilwoods Dynalites up front and changing to a Wilwood manual brake master. My question is what can I do to upgrade the stock rear drums on my 8.5 or will they be fine left alone?
*Aluminum drums are they worth it?
*Is there a better spring kit?
*What kind of brake shoes?
*What kind of wheel cylinders?

Right now I am running a MP rear disc brake conversion with the El Dorado calipers but was told that I would have issues running that kit with manual brake (not enough pressure)and I was better off changing back to drum with C-Clip eliminators...
And whatever else I am missing out on ,thanks very much ......

Regardless if the brakes are power assist or manual the master cylinder can create way more pressure than could possibly be used on the rear brakes.

Aluminum drums not worth it, cant get a new set and most are cut down too much. I run soft compound shoes and high boost wheel cylinders and my car stops on a dime. (you've been in it) In the front I run SSBC 2 piston calipers and drilled and slotted rotors.
