What weight of oil goes in the rear of a gm rear, and I know for posi's it also needs a special posi oil added, is the brand at autozone ok or should i get it from a gm dealer.

i put 80w 90 in mine and never had a problem, the autozone stuff should be alright for everyday driving but i would get some good stuff for hard use.

Whats the good stuff, you mean the gm additive? or name brand oil.

Thats ok, I also was talking about the additive, autozone sells a brand of posi additive and i wondered if it was as good as the GM stuff.
