Regal hood on a malibu?

I just found a 2" cowl hood on craigslist and the guy says it was on his 85 regal. Any chance that would fit my 79 malibu?

It may bolt on but the panels will have different shape.
The hood "lines" would not match up with the header panel.
Also I "think" the regal hood is flatter.

ON his regal and for a regal are two different things...do they make a cowl hood for regals? Might be a Malibu hood.... :?:

Both VFN & Unlimited make Regal Cowl Hoods, but I didn't see any 2", just 2.25" & taller.

Tommy
