I'm installing a over head switch box. I know to use relays on my fan, water pump and fuel pump. Should I use a relay on the start button? What about going to my ignition box?

It shure won't hurt anything but I think it's not needed as thats what the solenoid on most GM starters is,they don't take much juice at all so unless you have a super wimpy starter button or plan to do a lot of serious starter crankin I wouldn't worry about it,
no reccomendations from the MFG of your switch box? Same deal with the ignition box,how many amps required and what's the switch rated at? Of course the ignition will be continous where the starter is momentary, check your specs and go from there,Later

I do for both. Less heavy gauge wire in the car. Both are through an ARC Flat Touch panel (best move I ever made).

i would use a relay for the starrter but the ign box will be fine with 14guage to the ignition side of the box. the large guage wires on the ign box supply the power the small wire is just to turn it on.
