ok. so i realize this probably sounds like a stupid question. but i got a 84 monte ss. i'm working on doing it up as a pro-touring style car, a friend of mine pointed me to this board, said it was pretty helpful for g-body stuff. i'm used to a new f-body. so the frame is a new world for me. but anyways....here is the question

is there a trick to separate the mastery cylinder from the booster?

any help is appreciated

It should be just two bolts to remove it from the booster. One on each side bolted to the booster. It should come off the booster fairly easy.

Are you replacing the master cylinder?

that's what i thought....i guess there must be some corrosion between the studs on the booster and the master cylinder. the 2 are def stuck to each other.

i'm tearing the car apart. i want to por the frame and floor of the body. along with notching the frame and maybe boxing the middle section.
