Would the spindle and brake setup off a 2000 s10 extreme pickup be the same setup as the s10 blazers?

That's very possible. I'd cross reference the ball joints and brake pads on advance auto or something to see if they all match.

Some Blazers have single piston calipers and some have dual piston calipers

Also the spindles from a 4 wheel drive Blazer are different.

Well the extreme truck I found has the single piston calipers so the hunt continues
