SBC HEADERS? ???'S

I have a pair of Hedman headers for small block Chevy that has splits in the flanges in.between the tubes where the flange bolts to the heads will the splits in the flanges affect any performance or leak when the headers are mounted on the engine? THANKS

Usually that is done to help each tube seal when warped, not totally necessary but helps in some cases.

So will the headers be ok to install without any leakage

It shouldn't leak just because of the flange being cut.

They're fine. Like was said its for ease of installation. The headers on my chevelle are 4 separate tubes.
