I have a 1978 Malibu with 350, Air and Power Steering? Wanted to remove air but retain Power Steering. Looking for a Bracket recomendation. Tried March and Borgeson from the aftermarket, guite a joke. I will replace the 350 with a 402 Dart SHP with AFR 195's when I get a few problems ironed out. Ary help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks.

i actually modified that big a/c- p/s bracket to just hold the ps pump.i widdled it down pretty small to just attach to the front header bolt aided by a spacer and it allows full adjustment of the pump.I'm not using it anymore i switched to serpentine set up but i could take a picture if you'd like so you could see what I'm talking about.

There is the factory bracket:

....most people forget to take this piece when removing the AC delete set-up from a donor car. Most any GM vehicle with a small block/no-AC/pwr. steering has this same bracket.

If you need/want a picture of just the bracket.......lmk.
