I have a 78 malibu. heat & a/c delete. 3:73 gears. I just put a new 355 with RHS 200cc heads, comp ex274 cam, performer rpm intake. runs geat just need more than my old 2200 stall. just a weak end car that i some times drive to work. was thinking 3000 at least to a 3500, to loose? thanks for the in put this is my first post. I plan to get some pics of my car on here soon.

a 3000 would work better for you IMO... I ran a 3000 for awhile with my 280H and it worked great... but with 3.73's and a 300 stall it won't be fully locked up on the highway if you plan to use it much on the street... makes gas mileage suffer... beleive it or not I got better MPG when I put in 4.10's due to the convertor fully locking up..
