I'm just tossing around ideas, as it'll be a long time before I actually have to make a decision. I've been contemplating whether or not to use the factory gauge cluster:

or go with a set of gauges in the cluster housing, laid out similar to the factory gauge setup. My current gauges are in really good shape for $25  That's part of the reason I'm debating.

*edit*
:roflback::roflback::roflback: I totally forgot to add the poll.

If the stock ones do what you need the to do, stay with those, they look sharp.

Maybe it needs a different resistor? Contact GM and see if they can steer you the right way?

I personally don't trust factory gauges accuracy. But I'll bet they are close enough. It would kind of come down to which one YOUwant to look at. I prefer aftermarket for their looks as well as function.
