th350 to 2004r swap

What is needed to make this swap work in my 78 Malibu
transmissions is a 2004r from a 90 cadillac

Since this is a Remann Trans the Code Tag may be missing but, the Black stenciled letters on top are the Code. Looks like AC or ACF.
Do you know what engine the Caddy had? That will help determine if it will Auto shift at a low or higher rpm.

The crossmember is unique; get one from a G body that came with the TH200-4R (many starting 1985).

Your car will need a frame extension in order to fit this transmission. The crossmember for that trans mounts farther back on the frame and the early cars lack the provision for it.

You will also require a 4 speed shifter.

Left alone, it's not possible to shift down to manual 1st, with the original linkage. I've read on this forum that it's possible to bend the original shifting linkage so it's possible to manually up-shift all 4 gears.

Yes that's true so i bought a b&m ratchet shifter
