Tilt Wheel question

Hey new friends, got a question, I have a 1978 Malibu Classic Landau with bench seats that I am replacing with a set of great shape 78 Malibu buckets, also have purchased the console and auto shifter along with the cable; I also have found a tilt wheel from a 78 0r 79 elcamino, my question is, do I have to have the linkage from the elcamino also or will the stock one in my "BU" work with the tilt column and is there a bracket I will need to secure the cable under the console? any help will be greatly appreciated.

Steering shaft and column will need to be for a 78.

All the shifting linkage is the same. If the tilt is from a 79 and up you will need the steering shaft that goes from the steering column to the gear box that came with what ever year tilt you use.
