to bolt or not to bolt,that is the question

i'm tryin' to recall if the bolt hole closest to the fuel pump on the face of the block has to have a bolt in it?something along the lines of oil coming out or something like that,from the fuel pump pushrod?does this sound fimilar? ](*,) thanks

Yes it needs one. You can also use a longer one to hold up the pushrod when you change the fuel pump.

so the bolt must be on the shorter side and have some sealer on it too?

I've used a real short one with a washer and some rtv. Usually does the trick.
