Need more info and you need to be honest with yourself about intended usage. EVERYBODY says "it'll be a street/strip car". How long will it be before the new setup is put in place? Need the rear gear and intake duration #. Tentatively, I would think that the 3400 would be fine with stock heads, and 5000 with aftermarket heads and a solid cam will work out but it won't be a street car anymore though.

x2 every custom converter comp will ask if you had your motor dynoed, they will select the stall that is in your hp and tq curve (other factors vehicle weight tire size....) with lift number like that your duaration will also be high so the cam will kick in higher in rpms = large stall= less street

i couldnt find my cam card so i had to get on my old computer that has my desktop dyno. the intake duration is 264. not sure on what the vehicle weight is gonna be exactly. the tire size will probably be a 28 inch at most by 10.50. gear ratio depends on if it will be streetible. still not exactly for sure that this is gonna happen thats why im asking. this was going to go into the car i built my dad and he is never home he drives a truck so at most 3 miles to his job from home. i live about the same from my job. not trying to make it a daily driver just to work every once in a while and there is a car show in my town and in the next lil town about 10 minutes away. back to the gears i have a set of 4.11 and a set of 4.86. thanks!

264 @ .050 is big! Even for a 406. Other than short jaunts, that probably isn't gonna' be streetable.
