How much of the lid bracing can I remove. The car is for dragstrip only. I am still using the factory hinges and would like to keep them but all the other bracing is just useless weight. Before I got my glass hood I removed the bracing from the factory hood(pinned on), it made it a little flimmsy but it was a ton lighter, one guy could remove it.
So if anyone has done or tryed this let me know the do's or dont's. Sure I could just by a glass one but that is money and if I can remove the bracing it shouldn't weigh much more than a glass one.
