Trying to get an idea..

As im almost done with my ls swap im kinda curious how others have performed on the track with a similiar setup....
Its a lq4 just has headers, exhaust, 224/228 cam shaft, mail order tune for now, Th350 with a decent sized converter, ford 9'' with 4.56 gears..
all im trying to do is get an idea what kind of luck anyothers have had. THANKS!!!!

Seeing how one one's replied to, from what I've seen and heard from on here, most guys have no problems clicking off high to mid 11's on mild/moderate setups. I know one guy is running like 11.70's or so on a LS6 engine with a stock LS6 cam and a TH-350, pretty impressive if you ask me. I'm hoping to get mine running pretty soon so I can add to the conversation, but I'm not quite there yet.

I'm hoping for low 12's or possibly high 11's with my LQ9. GM "hot" cam, mild port on the heads and ZO6 valvesprings. Machine shop said 500-525 HP from the engine. We'll see....if I EVER find a front accessory drive to use on the truck blocks. Since you have an LQ4, what accessory drive did you use? Because the iron blocks have no hole where one exists in aluminum blocks, and one hole that can be drilled and tapped, but is not. I'd like to get the March pulley setup, but their tech guys say it won't work with the truck blocks.

Im hoping for low low 11 with lq4 stock bottom end Lingenfelter ported 241 ls1 heads and a ms3 style cam but mine will be carbed . Turbo 350 3200 stall and 4.10 in the 9 inch.

My heavy weight 88 monte ran a 12.0 with a LQ4, 218/226 .540ish cam, victor jr, and 750 vac carb. Swapped to a set of stock 243 heads (same flow, smaller chamber so higher CR), 232/234 .598 cam and megasquirt fuel injection it ran 11.53. I coulda got a .40 out of it but never got back up. Both were backed by a 4000 stall 2004r and 4.56s.

i appreciate it alot.. id be pretty disappointed if i didnt put around 375 to the ground. i was hoping for 12.20s anything faster ill be real happy... as far as the accessory drive my motor came with all that.. i got my f1r procharger sitting in the corner of the shop if im pleased with it im gonna update the car during the winter with a cage and internal stuff and suspension. im just hoping for low 12s ill be happy with it
