Valve spring question.

I'm considering swapping from a Hyd roller to a solid roller. I have AFR heads that came with roller springs. I couldn't find anything on the site about the springs. Will the same springs I have work with solid roller too? I sent AFR an e mail but just wondering what you guys think.

sure they will as long as your staying in the range that the springs are good for.

Your springs probably aren't going to work. Here is the spring sheet they use.

More than likely if you did the upgrade from hydraulic springs which are the 1.29 to the Hydro roller upgrade spring like I did, they are the 1.27 spring. You would at least need something similar to the AFR 8000 spring.
