Hello I am new at this. I have a 1978 malibu and I wanted to order some rally wheels for it. I want to put 15x10's on the rear and 15x7's on the front. Can soemone tellme the correct back spacing and the correct size tires to use so they do not rub?

Thanks,

Busaman.

im my opinion i would go with 15x8 on the back with 4.25-4.5 backspacing with a 275-60-15 tire. providing you still have the factory rear in it.

i had 15x10 cragars on my 81 it had shock extensions and the cheap air bags and wheel spacers to fit a 295/50/15 cant recall the B/S. i replaced them with summit star wheels 15 x 8 4.50 B/S with 275/60/15 with a G/N rear and had to use 1/4" spacers if my memory serves me right the factory B/S is 3.75 this maybe helpful to you http://maliburacing.com/forum/viewtopic.php?f=25&t=35753

Don't know about the fronts but I use 15x8 4.5bs with a 28x9x15 mounted with the stock 7.5. They fit perfect with no clearance issues. Don't know what size that is using metric?

On the front I would run either a 205/75/15 (27.1" tall) or 215/70/15 (26.75" tall) and put 275/60/15's on the back (28" tall)
