what stall converter to run?

What converter sive do you guys think here's the goods
355 sbc
aluminum corvette 58cc heads
1.52 roller rockers
mutha thumpr cam "hydraulic"
1"5/8 headers
2.5 flowmaster exhaust
performer RPM intake
Edelbrock 750 carb
pro comp 50,000 volt dist.
AND HERE,S THE BADS
stock converter
stock gears
this thing won't hardly run in gear at idle but it sounds good
I want probably 373 gears or 411s it,s not getting drove that mch on the street but more than on the track what stall should I run.
some people say 2000 some say 2600 some say that's not enough I ran across a tci 3500 for $250 used maybe 5 times at the track that's it

what are the cam specs? and what is the rpm range?

lift intake at 235 exhaust at 249
Duration intake 489 exhaust 476
I was thinking around 2500
rpm range is 2200 to 6100
I know ther may be a difference if I run a 373 gear or 410 I just don,t know wich way to go

if its more of a street car then its raced id go with a 373 and for a convertor id go 2800 to 3000 stall speed

thanks thats along the lines I was thinking was 373 plus that away it wouldn't be so hards on the rear end and may get to enjoy it some before teearing out the rear lol_sign.gif
