What tire fits on a 84 Cutlass

I have a 84 Cutlass and I'm wondering what width wheel would fit under the car with a 275 60 15 DR stock length rear??
I want to fill the wheel well with height and width.
And will it acommodate a 10-1/2 x 28-1/2 slick?

Perfect wheel size 15x8 with 4" backspacing. Either of your tire choices should fit nicely. May have to roll the fender lip a little. You can also use a 4.5" bs wheel but you will have to add a spacer to keep the tire off the frame.

is that with a stock width rear. is the frame notched. any wheel tub mods done. any pics

Yeah it's a stock width housing. No wheel tubs or frame notching, just have the wheel lips rolled.

the 10's always look better than 8's I think, I am gonna try 10's with 5.5 back space with a frame notch on our '84 MonteCarlo. I love the way your's look's .
