my plans ,,,i have 2 weld pro stars i bought used and the center was primed and painted ,,i am looking to polish the centers to original looks i sanded the paint//primer with 220 wet ,,my plan was to sand with 800 grit then maybe 1000 grit then polish ,,just figured i would see if anybody has dealt with wheels like this ,,,thanks for any info you can offer

I'd use paint stripper to remove the paint. Then I would see if they were scuffed up prior to painting. If so, start with 220 and work your way up to 1000 or even 1200. Then use a good aluminum polish until you get the shine you desire.
