I was just wondering if the stock front rotors will accept 1/2" diameter wheel studs? Also, do you have to remove the rotors to knock out the stock wheel studs or is there enough clearance behind the rotor to knock them out?

Thanks in advance!

The rotors will have to come off to swap studs. IDK about them fitting the stock rotors, but I had no problem drilling & pressing in 1/2" studs on the 1LE rotors on my car. Remember to have the rotors cut after pressing the studs in.

Well...

We actually had an '80ish El Camino come in. Half the studs were metric and half were standard. The shank/spline of the stud has to match the opening in the flange/rotor, besides which you can use whatever thread you want (I think it's either 1/2"-20 or 12mmx1.5 or 12mmx1.25). .. we listed both options in the computer (Pep Boys), so whichever you choose should be fine, just make sure the studs match the rest on your car, I had the same problem with my '78.
