Will a 10.5w fit where a 10.5 is a tight fit?

I currently run a 15x7 with 3.5 bs and a 28 10.5 15 M/T et drag.
Will it fit if I use a 28x10.5w tire or is it too big.
Stock wheelwell,stock frame, rolled lip.
Also will a 15x8 rim 3.5 bs fit with the 10.5 tire?

A 10.5W is wider than a standard 10.5 tire. Typically 1" wider in tread and section width.

A 10.5 tire really needs to be mounted on a 10" rim. I ran 8.5" rims years ago with a 10.5 x 28 slick and it pulled the beads in too much and caused the tread surface to bow reducing contact patch. I had to run lower tire pressure to help flatten the tread. Not an ideal situation.

Tires fit much better on a 10" rim and the tread lays flatter, and you can run more air pressure and still keep a flat contact patch, more stable down track.

15 x 7 is WAY too narrow for a 10.5 tread slick.

I know the rim is too narrow for the tire but I put together spare parts years ago and it has been working. My car has 60' 1.55 with this combo. Will it hook up on a 28x9?
Will a 10 inch rim fit with the 10.5 tire in my wheelwell?
What tire wil fit on a 8 inch rim in my wheelwell?
I need to buy rear rims and tires and I am looking for the biggest combo that will fit.

i would stick with the 10.5 you have already or use the 28x9 as mentioned previously. it will hook, just make sure you do a good burn out and stay in the groove.
