So ive had my eye on the Weiand 142 or the 177 supercharger for a while.. ive been reading the specs and it looks like my motor can handle it.. but before i go spending 2k i just want to make sure.. i have the GMPP 350/290 HP Long Block.. i dont want to make crazy HP.. just something to get up and go when i want it to

Thanks!!!

If your gonna buy one, go with the 177. it will add atleast 80-100hp to your motor and not hurt it. trust me you'll love having one of these blowers, make sure it has the teflon strips. it will save you money later on.

I had a 142 on a 406 with Sportsman II heads and I always wished I had bought the 177. The little blowers are great in that they are easy to install and add killer throttle response. You won't be disappointed.

You will be OK with the 650 for now, but it will probably limit your boost if you try to turn it up. 750 would be better if you want to spend the money after sinking $2300 into the blower lol.

i have often thought about one of these but i think my compression ratio is already too high at 10.7:1.
any thoughts?

yep too high for running a supercharger. you would want to be 8.5 - 9.5
