Malibu versus Monte Carlo innner fenderwells

Post by bigblockmark » Sat Jun 15, 2013 11:40 am

Can anyone tell me for sure if:

The front inner fenderwells are the same for a 1980 Malibu and a 1997 Monte Carlo?

I have the 80 Malibu and know of a set of original new fenderwells that were bought for the 87 Monte Carlo.

There are some part numbers molded into mine but don't know if later ones might have different ones and still work correctly.

The other ones are a couple hours away and don't want to make the trip if not right. I have seen one picture and they look the same.

Not sure on 80 and 87, But I put a 82 Monte Carlo passenger side inner fender on my 78 El Camino. So I would think they would fit.
