Which tool to remove trim

Post by rock » Sun Jan 26, 2014 4:16 pm

I am looking to buy a trim tool kit. Never used one before. Looking for something to remove window trim (the correct way) without destroying the clips. Figure for the price, it would likely pay for itself......if I used it correctly. Problem is, I don't know which one to use, let alone know which tool is for what. Anyone know any links or informative link on which tool is used for each. If not, which one of these would be the specific tool to remove the front and rear window molding. thanks for the input

This is the only tool I know of to properly remove window trim and I don't see something similar in the kit you mentioned.

The above or this Steck tool are used for our windshield/backglass moldings.

We mostly use the plastic tools for interior trim work
