PPG DX995 Flattening Agent

Post by Mike » Thu Oct 02, 2014 11:18 pm

Im hoping to have a good day this weekend so I can spray my new motor. Im using black Centari. I want to knock down the gloss a little. Ive used PPG DX685 in the past but what I had was hard as a rock so I tossed it. My neighbor gave me a can of DX995. He told me that its basically the same thing only newer. I tried to pull up the TDS from PPG and its not available. Anyone familiar with the 995 ?

should work just fine, the 685 was discontinued 12/2013 if you have to buy some a cheaper choice is PPG's one choice SU4985 universal matting agent...
