1978-80 cutlass cruiser header panel on 1982 cutlass cruiser

Post by Andy G » Thu Jan 22, 2015 2:32 am

Will a 1978 - 80 cutlass cruiser wagon header panel be a direct bolt on to a 1982 cutlass cruiser wagon? The 1982 cruiser wagon is a 4 head light system, and the 1978 - 80 is a 2 head light system.
I know that this has been covered in a general way in the past, but I cannot find a direct answer to this question.

Thanks everybody for your help.

Andy

AFAIK, the header panel is a swap, but you will probably have to modify the radiator support to fit the 4 headlight setup.

Tommy,
He's looking to put a dual headlight header panel on a quad headlight car. So he should have no problem bolting on the dual headlight header panel. No modification necessary.

Cool. Maybe I was thinking of guys that used 78-81 rad supports with 82+ headers that had to cut the headlight buckets a little.
