The door glass channel guides in my wagon have finally given up, so I would like to replace them, at least on the front wagon doors. Problem is, I can't find any source for new door glass guides. Does anyone know of a source for these, or what other available guides come close to working? My search in salvage yards only turn up more poor condition glass guides. There must be someone who has found a solution for this problem.

There was nothing at Mike's Monte, but after extensively searching the www and many phone calls, there is some hope at

At their request, Todd suggested sending a section of what I have to see if their technical person, Jeff, can match it to something close and that will work. All the other "BIG Name" restoration part suppliers had nothing for me, or any leads. If Restoration Specialists comes through with a product that works, I will keep the board posted. BTW, like many with these old cars, my door window channel guides have become so brittle, they just crack and fall apart with any pressure. In my case portions of the channel have broken off and missing, so I must replace them. My wagon is in very good condition for a 79 model, but all rubber is showing its age. It is a southern car, so the sun was not kind to rubber and plastic.

Check with Danno Enterprises. You can find most of the replacement run channels except for the front door upright pieces. They're a peculiar shape...OEM only. I was lucky to find one NOS channel for the left side, the right channel had to be pieced together.
